Karen Teber
Karen Teber leads the communications team at Georgetown University Medical Center, where she’s worked for nearly 14 years. A specialist in science/medical media relations, Karen became instantly experienced in internal crisis communications during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to her Georgetown work, she leads a weekly media call for COVAT, an ensemble of top infectious disease and vaccine experts. Karen is a former television news producer who teleworks from her home in Madison, Wisconsin.
