Dr. Olayiwola is the inaugural Chief Health Equity Officer and Senior Vice President for Humana, Inc., a role she assumed in April 2021. In this role, she is responsible for setting a health equity agenda and strategy to promote health equity across all Humana lines of business, including its care delivery assets.

She is also responsible for defining enterprise-wide measures for equity, designing a health equity lens for improvement, setting goals and coordinating efforts to achieve true health equity for millions of patients and members across the nation.
Until March 2021, Dr. Olayiwola served as Chair and Professor of the Ohio State University Department of Family and Community Medicine, and Chief of Family Health Services for the OSU Health System. She was also the Founding Director of the Center for Primary Care Innovation and Transformation at Ohio State. She is an experienced and internationally renowned family physician and health equity leader, with expertise in primary care transformation, technology and innovation, public health and health disparities leadership, and health services research. She continues to serve as an Adjunct Professor at the Ohio State University in the College of Medicine and the College of Public Health.
Dr. Olayiwola is committed to improving the primary care delivery, experience and clinical outcomes to achieve the Quadruple Aim and health equity through systems redesign, practice transformation, information technology, primary care research, public health and technology innovation and health policy. In 2019, she was named the Woman of the Year by the American Telemedicine Association.
