Ever wonder what’s it’s like to work for the federal government? CDC’s Human Resources Office is on deck to share how you can learn about new opportunities, tailor your resume for USAjobs.gov, and put your best self forward.
Rise Up with ORISE
The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education will be on site to share opportunities for fellowships at CDC. Come meet representatives in person, and learn how becoming an ORISE fellow can give you a head start for a federal career.
Party with PMFs
Presidential Management Fellows Program is a two-year training and leadership development program at CDC (and other federal agencies). This opportunity is for US citizens who already hold advanced degrees. Meet with someone who is already in the program, and see if it’s right for you. Great opportunity for early career professionals.
Students ONLY Poster Session
Take advantage of this opportunity to showcase your research or your area of focus. Get feedback and inputs from seasoned professionals in public health and health communication. Compete with other graduate students for the chance to get your work in front of leaders in health communication.
