Leadership in Times of Change: A Conversation with CDC Health Communication Leaders
Thursday, August 18, 2022 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM (EDT)
OVERVIEW
Health communication leaders throughout CDC have taken on many significant leadership roles in the COVID-19 response. While the fight against COIV-19 is a top priority for the agency, communication leaders have also had to ensure that their centers’ non-COVID programs continued. During the closing plenary, you will hear reflections from six such leaders on how they managed their priorities and planned for the future. You will discuss with them what it takes to demonstrate communication leadership during a public health emergency as well as hear more about what is on the horizon for each respective center.
